QuickCIS, v1.51
By Jim Ness
* The LOGIN.SCR file is now properly executed.
* Minor changes to the sysop features.
* A new feature: You can now create a folder named SUPPORT,
in the same directory as QUICKCIS.PRG. QuickCIS will then
use this folder for all of its support files - everything
except the program file itself. After creating this folder,
move all of the support files into this folder, so QuickCIS
can find them. If you choose not to create the folder,
QuickCIS will operate as before. My personal setup has as
many as 30 support files. It makes sense to "hide" them,
reducing the confusion factor.
* A new, but hidden, feature: You can now use a text
processor to edit your config file to allow 19200bps data
rate. Line 1 of your config file contains 5 digits, each
seperated by a space. The first digit represents the
QuickCIS bps rate. Changing the digit to 5 will utilize
19200bps. Since this option is not in the View Config
dialog, no bps rate will be checkmarked there.
* QuickCIS now "suggests" the previously used filename when
the <O>utput option to disk is accessed.
* The output speed of all text is now limited by the program
to approximately 200 characters per second.
* "Old" forum library files are no longer erased by the
program. They are only overwritten, when new text is receiv-
ed.
* QuickCIS now stores the proper number of characters to the
MAIL.MSG file. Previously, the last 4 chars were chopped
off.
